Hi, I’m Clarisa Arellano — founder of Showtime Tans and the person behind the glow at bodybuilding competitions across Northern California.
My journey into competition tanning started not behind a spray gun, but on stage. As a figure competitor in 2009 and 2010, I discovered I was allergic to the tanning solutions being used at shows. Instead of walking away from the sport I loved, I went on a mission — developing my own hypoallergenic, natural competition solution so I could return to the stage in 2012 until I retired in 2015.
What started as a personal solution became something much bigger. In 2012, once our formula was perfected, Showtime Tans was born.
For over a decade, I’ve had the privilege of helping athletes look and feel their absolute best when it matters most — under the bright lights, on competition day. I understand this world from the inside out, because I’ve lived it. That’s what makes Showtime Tans different: we don’t just tan competitors, we take care of them.
Whether it’s your first show or your hundredth, you deserve to step on stage with confidence. That’s what we’re here for.

With 11 years of successful coaching experience, I’ve dedicated my life to helping athletes reach their highest potential.
As an Olympia and Masters Olympia-qualified coach, as well as an Arnold Classic-invited coach, I bring over a decade of firsthand competitive and coaching experience to every athlete I work with.
As a full-time elite coach, father of four, and man of faith, my passion extends far beyond the stage—I am committed to creating a positive impact on the lives of those I mentor.

That same love for coaching, the sport, and the bodybuilding industry has inspired my vision for Showtime Tans: delivering a completely elevated athlete experience at every show, built on professionalism, excellence, and a genuine understanding of what competitors need to perform at their best.
